You hear of food banks going empty. You hear of nationwide obesity. You hear of food drives. I think we, as a society, can do better. We'd been pretty slack in our 2-cans-a-week purchases for the food bank lately - things did get pretty tight - but I'm going to try to get it going again. It's not a lot, it costs less than a coffee and a donut, but it's steady, and people need food banks all year round.
