I'm fast learning that this isn't too far from my reality. The biggest difference is the teacher and principal both look at me rather pointedly and indicate it's not their issue, at all... Without sharing the required pathway, i.e. a written letter expressing need, they put everything squarely on OUR shoulders, whereas the truth of the matter is they have a detailed policy indicating how to get your IEP going. But they'll never tell.
