Do right by yourself and others...

I did one of those quizzes, to see which Serenity character I am, and I like my result. Shepherd Book, but not too closely. The text which goes with the character's answer is interesting to me - "... it is teaching them to do right by themselves and other people. Why is that so hard for some to understand?"
